Do I need to keep the app and camera connected at all times for the camera to function?

No, the app is just for configuration. Once recording starts, the camera will work on its own without the app.

What are my cloud storage options with ATL4500?

For safety and privacy reasons, we don't provide our own cloud service. We want you to have complete control over your data and where it's stored. The camera supports FTP, Google Cloud, and Baidu Cloud, giving you the flexibility to choose a service that aligns with your privacy preferences and data management policies.

Do you charge for the app?

No, the ATLI Cam+ and the ATLI Desk are free for downloading.

Is there a subscription fee for the remote access service?

The remote access service is currently free, and there is no subscription fee at the time being. However, we plan to introduce a subscription plan in the future to maintain our servers with additional services. We will announce the launch at least 3 months in advance, and current users will receive an extended trial period.

How much recording time can I get with a 512GB memory card?

If you're looking to capture just video and select the video-only output mode, you can expect the video length to range from 1500 to 1800 minutes (depending on the interval and environment). However, if you also want to capture photos and choose the video+photo output option, it will require a larger storage space.

What happens if there is a power outage?

You will be notified via email alerts or app notifications in the event of a power outage. As soon as the power is restored, the camera will automatically resume shooting.

Furthermore, with its robust 10,500mAh built-in battery, you can rest assured that the camera will continue to operate smoothly even during power outages.

Will it work well in the night?

Absolutely! The camera is equipped with advanced low-light performance capabilities, making it ideal for night-time shooting. It features enhanced sensors to ensure clear and detailed images even in dimly lit environments.

Will the camera hold up in both rainy and snowy conditions?

We've put the camera through extensive weather resistance tests, and it's been through some seriously rainy days and still functions well. But just to be on the safe side, we do recommend giving the lens a quick check regularly or after a heavy downpour to make sure it's nice and clean.

Can I view the camera and download video remotely on my mobile and computer?

Yes, if you connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network with internet access, you can use our ATLI Desk (formerly ATLI Remote) desktop client or the ATLI Cam+ mobile app to remotely access and download videos.

How can I retrieve files from the camera?

There are a few different options you can try out.

1. Use the ATLI Cam+ app to connect to the camera directly and download the videos/photos to your mobile device.

2. Use the ATLI Desk (formerly ATLI Remote) desktop client and download the videos/photos onto a PC.

3. Pull out the microSD card from the camera and open the files directly on the PC

4. Use the 'Cloud Drive' feature in the ATLI Cam+ app to automatically synchronize your media with your personal Google Drive account.

Does the camera come with an SIM card?

No, we don't want to limit your choice. By allowing you to use your own SIM card, you can shop around for the most affordable data plan and avoid being locked into a specific provider or contract.

What carriers is it compatible with?

Please refer to the LTE Compatibility in spec sheet to check the bands compatible with your SIM card. The device supports specific frequency bands used by different carriers. To ensure compatibility, compare the bands listed in the data sheet with the bands supported by your SIM card provider in your region.

How to choose between Wi-Fi and LTE version?

If your site has reliable Wi-Fi, choose the Wi-Fi version. If the Wi-Fi signal is weak or there's no internet available, go with the LTE version. Please note that if your site is in a remote location with no cellular signal, the LTE version will also not work. We recommend testing the cellular signal strength at your location before purchasing the LTE version to ensure adequate coverage.

Does the camera work on 5G/4G/3G/2G cellular network?

The camera does NOT support 5G. It is designed to function primarily on 4G/3G/2G networks. The availability and performance of these networks are subject to regional variations and signal strength limitations. The camera's ability to connect and transmit data will be affected by these factors. Check with your local carrier for coverage maps and signal availability in your area.

What SIM card do I need for the LTE version?

To ensure compatibility and optimal performance, please consider the following:

1. Carrier Compatibility: Verify that your chosen mobile carrier and data plan are compatible with the camera's LTE bands and frequencies. Contact your carrier to confirm compatibility.

2. SMS Support Recommended: We recommend using a SIM card with SMS (Short Message Service) capabilities. This allows the camera to send you important notifications regarding SIM card status, such as activation, data usage alerts, and potential issues.

3. Micro SIM Size: The camera is compatible with the Micro SIM (3FF) card format. Ensure that your SIM card is the correct size before insertion.
